The purpose
Since 2018, NaN social kitchen is one of the main pillars of Lesvos Solidarity providing a wide range of services with locals and refugees.

As a community based project, NaN fosters social connections, provides employment, vocational training for refugees and locals, addresses food insecurity and creates a open and inclusive space.

NaN promotes cultural exchange and understanding through shared experiences and food cultures. Here we host musical events, educational seminars on plant-based cooking and others, discussions on sustainable farming. Committed to supporting local producers, NaN prioritizes fresh, regional ingredients for its cuisine.

NAN is open three days a week (1:00 PM to 10:00 PM). The menu changes weekly, reflecting the cultural diversity our shared community. We prepare special meals for people with dietary restrictions and any surplus food is donated to the local refugee reception center.
