Dear friends,
On March 21st, the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (World Day Against Racism), we unite our voices with all the groups that are affected, including people with disabilities, LGBTQ+ individuals, Roma, migrants, refugees, people living with HIV, the elderly, substance users, people with mental health issues, religious groups, and others, to send a powerful message of unity against racism and intolerance.
This year, on Friday, March 21st, we invite you to join the Walk Against Discrimination, an initiative that has been organized for the past decade by the Greek Forum of Migrants. The walk will conclude with an open discussion at the NaN Social Kitchen, located at Komninaki 30, Mytilene.
Date: March 21
Meeting time: 5:30 PM
Meeting point: Statue of the Refugee Mother, Epano Skala
A unique walking tour will be offered by Parea at Lesvos, focusing on the city’s landmarks that symbolize solidarity and community inclusion.
Come and walk with us for a world without discrimination, for a future that is fairer for all. For a society of inclusion that will serve as a beacon of solidarity and respect, free from prejudices.
Sincerely,
The Co-Organizers
